Potwin Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir has many facets. It is a warm fellowship of members who enjoy making a joyful sound. They perform at every Sunday morning worship service from Labor Day until Memorial Day Sunday. Their leader, David Ohse, has led the group for more than 15 years. By day, he teaches music in the Washburn Rural School District.

Anthems range from traditional melodies in four-part harmony to works by more contemporary composers such as John Rutter or Natalie Sleeth. The choir also participates in Potwin's annual Christmas Eve and Maunday Thursday services.

Potwin's organist, Sharon Bayless, is equally accomplished on both the organ and piano. From time to time, two very talented young violinists, Adam Bayless and Annelise Ohse, accompany the group as well. Adam is Sharon's son and Annelise is David's daughter. Gwen Jones shares her musical abilities with us in duets with Sharon or as a substitute organist or choir director as needed.

Our rehearsals are at 7:00pm on Tuesday evenings. We welcome anyone who likes to sing, whether or not you read music or have choir experience. Please join us!
