Community
Potwin Church is a place that cares for others. We have long been involved with social issues in the community. Potwin had a foundational role in Doorstep, a local food bank and social service resource, and VIDA, a Hispanic ministry. We continue to have an active role in these organizations. We are also involved in the support of the Topeka Rescue Mission, and many other mission opportunities and events through the larger Presbyterian Church.
Potwin Church sits at the confluence of Willow, Washburn, 4th and 5th Streets in Topeka Kansas.
From this grand location the church sits on the doorstep of 4 of Topeka's most historic
neighborhoods -- Potwin Place, Ward-Meade, Kenwood, and Greater Auburndale. This is the community that the church was built to serve, and it has done so for over 120 years. Potwin Church has been and continues to be a vital Christian part of these communities and the greater Topeka community.
